Finally, a Dongle You Can Show Off
The very thought of transforming the plain old dongle into a trendy and chic device did not come to anyone’s mind until recently. As the device becomes a household accessory and its functionality undifferentiated, many companies have been trying to bring in new styles into the market. However, O2 has now taken a big leap and launched a dongle, which is more a fashion statement than a boring functional device.
Joining hands with fashion designers from the esteemed House of Holland, O2 has introduced the limited edition stylish dongle. The ISP claims the dongle, designed in white and black polka dot and bearing a blue colour House of Holland logo, to be season’s hot, must-have accessory.
House of Holland and its owner Henry Holland came into the limelight in 2007 with their ‘Frankie says’ designer t-shirts. The experimental designer who has been working on transforming the 80s fashion and bringing it back in vogue has taken a break and focused his creative energies on the mobile broadband market. He feels it was a great experience working on the device, as it is a very good gift and something that most people will find useful.
The ’state-of-art USB dongle is available from Feb 27 onwards, as part of the O2 mobile broadband, “Pay as You Go” package.
